Jason Father is an archaeologist, a traveler of the forbidden Wastes, a procurer of lost technology, and peddler of things forgotten by the winds of time. He walks alone through a land where humans are hated, hunted, and, more often than not, killed for sport. Armed with only his pistol and an armored survival suit, Jason agrees to one last quest into the Tainted Lands in search of technological treasure that could advance the scientific arts of all the kingdoms within the sixteen lands, or drive them to tear themselves apart in an unholy war of conquest and tyranny.
Accompanied by a Technomancer’s runaway slave, and an eight-legged thief, the unlikely trio must battle the savage elements of a volatile land as they wander forgotten kingdoms, outwit mad wizards, and out run alien beings who wish steal the treasure before Jason makes the one decision that could doom the sixteen kingdoms forever.

“Who’s Penny McKay?” he asked as he replaced his glasses.
When Grampa James comes to visit his grown daughter, he grows increasingly alarmed about odd coincidences, and about a dark secret buried deep in his past, as he discovers more about Penny, the strange friend of his 15 year old granddaughter Alex.
Told from three different characters’ points of view, this is a story of words and deeds that should have been said or done, and never were. It is also a story of triangles: of Grampa James, Alex, and her friend Penny who connect with unexpected consequences in the present time, and of a young teen boy named Jimmy and his two best friends, all of whom were forever changed because of one singular event which occurred in 1959.

Reviews:
The world of Snow combines the stories of childhood and the world of adulthood, with a dash of mythology thrown in for good measure. Figures we know well appear, not as the idealized characters of childish dreams, but as ordinary people with their own worries, problems, and fears. Believable characters populate a world where anything seems possible. A world similar to our own, where theology lies hand in hand with the metaphysical without batting an eye. The twists and turns of a single event is crystalized for our viewing in this story. Though it is short, it packs all the punch of a good novel. It is one of those stories that has you asking ‘What next?’ right to the very end. And even beyond it.
by B.A.E. Fraser
Snow is a great quick read, filled with interesting twists on Mythology and Theology that meet in a world not all the different from our own. The Characters are well developed through the many plots twists that keep you turning to the next page and hoping for another book to follow the characters further into their world. A simple must read… 5 snowflakes out of 5
